Clear Channel has promoted Brian Lakamp (pictured) to the newly-created position of President of Clear Channel Digital. Lakamp was previously Executive Vice President of Digital Media. Lakamp will oversee iHeartRadio, local radio stations' Internet properties and the company's digital strategy as a whole. (Lakamp spoke at RAIN Summit Chicago as part of the Give Listeners What They Want panel -- watch it here).
The company also named Pablo Calamera as Chief Technology Officer of Clear Channel Digital. He was previously Thumbplay's CTO. Thumbplay was an on-demand music subscription service acquired by Clear Channel in March to help power the new customizable iHeartRadio (RAIN coverage here).
